Winterbliss

Though this image is old as you say in your description. I like it a lot and can see why so many others have been interested in it as well (according to your views). The snow has a soft feel, the trees void of leaves and life, and the mountains portraying an aura of isolation. I like the dusty hue of the sky and the way the snowfall is blurred against the camera's view. It gives a more natural flow to it rather than depicting it as still. The poses you chose here are good as well. Both declare that you're ready to fight and do what you need to against the foe off screen. The expressions also display this perfectly. The effects are very nice too and I particularly like the one in Avanne's hand. It has a very lovely fireball look and defined magical ripples.

So, even if this is older, this piece is still beautiful for the time it was crafted.
